Hey NSFW Community! I have something to share...

Posted by MimpTableToss - 22 hours ago

The intent of this post isn't to dunk on y'all, it's just for self awareness purposes. You may have seen some NSFW reviews of mine that may come off as harsh and if I hurt anyone, I'm sorry. I really don't wish that on any creator and consumer. The "harsh" reviews come from strong passionate disagreement of HOW and WHY the sexuality is visually and morally portrayed in any piece of work. Though, I have no ill will with the mere sexuality itself. I'm not like a prude lol. I honestly think that sex positivity is very necessary and important. I will admit though, I should aim to be more respectful with how I give honest opinions on stuff. Trust me, I'm working on it (sometimes I expect creators to just get the hint, but I’ll still try to be more straight to the point when necessary). I myself have had trauma with porn addiction from the young age of 10 and it's made me care about this kind of topic more than most people. It may be coping. It may be projecting. And once again, I'm sorry if I am hurting anyone because of that.

To the NSFW creators - As adults, you deserve full freedom, autonomy, and authenticity with your art and creativity. That's what this site is all about. We all have our vices and though mine often doesn't align with yours, I just want you all to know that I still respect you as people and creators. Whether I agree or disagree with your work, my main intent on reviewing your stuff isn't to make you stop doing what you love or to piss you off. It's to provoke critical thought on why certain things may or may not sit right with me and other certain kinds of audiences. I for one HATE objectification (even in a fictional context).

If you understand and respect that women are people/human beings with complicated personalities, feelings, emotions, lives, etc (and I say this specific gender because women are the main advertising mascots of the adult industry) then that's great! If you just perceive them as mere objects to sexualize, take advantage of, and orchestrate for the SOLE PURPOSE of fulfilling fantasies and desires, you're not my cup of tea. Plain and simple. Your ideal of women is heavily demonstrated in your work and whether or not you care, consumers are always impacted and impact is crucial. This is why I favour characters that are complex with depth, dynamics, and distinction. That's how we build meaningful relationships with them beyond the surface even though they're not real (the best fictional writers keep this stuff in mind instead of using the "it's just a cartoon" excuse). I provided a video that you could check out if you'd like and I really think it's worth the watch in aiding your creative minds! ☺️

To the NSFW consumers - As adults, however you consume and approach erotic material is up to you. I've already discussed my personal way of consumption and approach in the last news post (check that out if you're willing!). I understand that all sexual orientations obviously have their own wants and needs in this diverse community, but we heterosexual males are THE MOST vulnerable to the mainstream adult industry so hear me out. I'm more of an observationalist when it comes to consuming anything NSFW or not. And I'm sure some of you consumers also have that kind of approach. But I'm specifically talking about those that use said NSFW material mainly to aid their sexual pleasure.

Please be aware that this kind of material could easily become addictive, excessive, and distort your sense of reality. When sexually aroused, your primal instinct to procreate temporarily reduces your prefrontal cortex's functionality (the logic and reasoning part of your brain). So the least all of you can do is consume with caution and awareness. Stay moderate, have discipline, and be sure to keep real connection and intimacy with real people as best as you can. Appreciate the beauty of nature, and aim not to let lust consume you. Understand the importance of appropriate beauty standards and realistic sex expectations. I also provided a video for y'all so feel free to check it out! It's extremely important. 😃
