When you grow up with stuff, you can't help but love it for being apart of the many things that shaped you up as an individual. Even if it's bad. Nostalgia is a very powerful thing. As a kid, you're just ignorant to so many things, and will like stuff for the sake of it. As an adult, you understand things and yourself better, what you believe in, stand for, your values, morals, way more than you ever did before, and you're more critical of things. I can see why it's hard to enjoy this in your adulthood and honestly, that's valid. But in your childhood, it's easy to not care about the many things that go over your head because you're busy being innocent and blissful.

As much as I really like the first 4 seasons of this show (the ones I grew up with), I understand the hate and how this has often disrepsected its ambitious and mature predecessor. I'm suprised it's even still running today. Goes to show that a well told story is less important than a more commercially profitable one. Didn't think I'd get this deep lol.
